6 Month Contract - Job Description for Event Tour Manager
- Event Tour Manager will overseeing the development, implementation, and follow through of events throughout the course of a year.
- The Event Tour Manager will lead the coordination of a wide range of RMS Talent Acquisition recruitment initiatives to include the coordination of internal, external and virtual hiring events and various outreach and advertising efforts and strategies.
- This includes 25 to 60 medium scale hiring events with up to 10 people involved, and coordination of all the documentation, planning and tracking that goes into an event.
- This role is dealing with communication internally within our department of Business Development as well as with external customers.
- There is continuous communications with our external vendors that are used to set up the events, vendor booths, leagues, teams, etc.
- All of these communications are key to ensure that all events run smoothly the days of each event.
- This role oversees all the communications that occur internal and external regarding the events.
- Must be able to tailor each event based off needs (adjusting advertising, screening, locations, target audience).
- The selected candidate must regularly maintain the master calendar, blog and other internal communication tools and processes as applicable.
- This role owns ensuring that processes are followed and outcomes are delivered on time and accurately.
- This role will delegate tasks to other staff members but will still oversee output.
- This role is not considered a management role, it will report to the Director of Business Development and Multicultural.
- A minimum of 1 year of communication, event planning or advertising experience.
- Must be process and detail-oriented, timely and responsive, and have the ability to meet deadlines in customer service oriented and faced-paced recruiting environment.
- The successful candidate must show demonstrated experience of taking initiative and exercising sound business judgment and maintain discretion and confidentiality of propriety information.
- Prior experience with social media - creating images and tracking links, providing instructions for non-tech users, and posting/advertising events on various sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc)
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of recruitment advertising and event coordination or closely related experience in lieu of degree
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Advanced Experience with Microsoft Office
