The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for designing campaigns, developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between targeted consumers and the agency. The goal of this position is to catapult the agency’s social media presence with new followers and page likes to the millions within our Hispanic Sports Community in America.
The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review social media data to develop more effective campaigns, including engagement goals, campaign development and new channel evaluation. Establish a monthly proactive content calendar that balances required and curated topics to effectively engage with consumers. Develop and distribute periodic reports and campaign analyses to demonstrate performance.
SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

- Execute and optimize SEO, SEM, for agency’s website
- Support community's overall marketing efforts and work closely with other marketing team members to understand business needs and marketing strategies for each community.
- Develop monthly statistics reports on emerging social media trends
- Provide management with monthly statistics (post reach/engagement and page likes/followers) as well as for any ad boost or paid ad campaigns that occurred during that month.
- Monitor social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users
- Analyze the long-term needs of the social media accounts strategy and offer quarterly reports that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan
- Create and develop relevant content for various platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat) to reach the program’s target customers
- Provide weekly spreadsheet of all Social Media content for posting and schedule times
- Generate creative and compelling content including social media posts, emails, website content, collateral, ads, etc. to support all relevant marketing channels
- Maintain a consistent and timely social media posting schedule
- Respond to social media inquiries, comments, and online reviews in a timely manner that promotes further consumer engagement
- Analyze social media dashboard metrics and tools to help make recommendations on content, site design or features to improve effectiveness of digital footprint
- Develop social media strategy for paid and owned posts
SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Marketing, Communications, News Media or related field or 2 years of experience in related to Social Media marketing. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- 2+ years’ experience in social media coordination
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills
- Able to explain complex social media data in an understandable way
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and Snapchat advertising platform is required
- Proficient in Microsoft software applications
- Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text) and language skills
- Demonstrate social network experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish is Required
- Experienced with working in a sports marketing with Hispanics a big plus
